What this consent is.

At registration, after the three required consents, you are offered a fourth: marketing and communication. This notice describes exactly what that tick means before you give it.

It is voluntary. Your registration, your membership, and everything your club owes you are identical whether you tick it or not. Declining it costs you nothing except the messages described below.

What you'll receive.

If you opt in, your club may send you:

  • Club news — announcements about the club itself: new facilities, changed hours, community updates.
  • Events — invitations to club events and gatherings.
  • New products — when something new becomes available for sharing at your club.
  • Membership offers — renewal reminders framed as offers, referral programmes, and member specials.

These messages come from your club, about your club. Kultiflo provides the delivery mechanism; it does not send you marketing of its own.

The channels used.

  • Push notifications — through the Kultiflo apps, to the device you registered with.
  • Email — to the address on your membership record.
  • Phone or message — your club may contact you on the number you provided.

Only the contact details already on your membership record are used. Opting in adds no new data collection — it only switches on a flag against your existing profile.

How often.

There is no fixed schedule — your club sends marketing messages when it has something it believes is relevant to its members, and the cadence is the club's decision. If the volume from your club ever feels excessive, you can opt out at any moment (§ 6), and the messages stop.

What it never includes.

  • No third-party marketing. Your details are never given to advertisers, brokers, or any business other than your own club. Opting in is consent to hear from your club — no one else.
  • No effect on service messages. Operational notices — approvals, expiries, renewals — are part of your membership and arrive regardless of this consent.
  • No pressure. Declining or withdrawing this consent never affects your membership, your standing at the club, or the service you receive.

Opting out.

Withdraw this consent whenever you like:

  • tell your club's front desk, in person or by message; or
  • email hello@kultiflo.com with the club you belong to.

The marketing flag on your profile is switched off and the messages stop. Opting out is as easy as opting in, as POPIA and the Consumer Protection Act require, and you can opt back in later if you change your mind.
